- What guild(s) were you in before applying and why did you leave them? (before WotLK too):

The Blood Guard (Teranas EU) I left Teranas to join my friends for TBC (moved to Shattered Halls EU).

OcUK - progressed to MH, then left with other members to form BoJ.

Badgers of Justice - Continued Tier 5 raids on a casual basis, guild disbanded to form...

Victory for my Llamas - I co-founded this with the current GM, and we have progressed through to OS2D (now on the books for Ulduar). I was an Officer until I felt my skills had been overshadowed. Since then it hasn't felt like home, so I am looking for a new challenge.


- Your Previous Raid Experience:

I started serious PvE raiding with TBC, before then WoW was simply a casual gaming experience. I regularly farmed up to and including MH prior to WotLK, and farmed the bejebus out of heroics and dailies for The Blade of Harbingers (then Dual Wielding following Titan's grip). Wrath has been a steady progression as previously mentioned, where we only really lacked numbers in our guild, preventing further achievements.

I have never raided for progression without Ventrillo, and during TBC I took a keen interest in the VanillaWoW dungeons... sadly pugs will be pugs and clearing anything with an angry and care-free mob was nothing short of a miracle.


- What's your role in raid?:

To ultimately kill anything in sight without pissing off the healers and tanks. Being an engineer, I also made sure I brought along repair bots, or use my traveler's tundra mammoth to help the raid repair.

- Why should we prefer you instead of others (same class) in your opinion?:
I feel that I have built up a steady knowledge base for my class, rather than rushing in "recruit-a-friend/DK" style and learning on the fly. I can be trusted to be reliable, efficient in raid preparation, and reading up on any new tactics, and no Tauren is complete without a vast selection of toy trinkets and silly hats.

- Do you feel skilled as a player?:
I would like to think myself as skilled, coming from 4 years as a Warrior player. I will openly accept there are more skilled players out there, but I have enough clought to progress in WoW. I read up regularly on Wow-Wiki, official, wowhead, maxdps, and so on.

- What are you goals besides character development?:
My expectations are to clear Ulduar and any left overs from Wrath-initial (OS3D for starters). I love the challenge of the new and the unknown, and I really feel a fresh start with a reputable guild such as yourselves would see this through. I also hope to have a supportive experience with yourselves, as well as the necessity of concentration when needed.

- Are you pvper? Do you like it? Have you ever reached a good rating?:
I used to PvP heavily during a quiet guild stage in early TBC. I do enjoy it, but I haven't ever considered it seriously over PvE. I keep a full armour set in my bank for the occasions.

- Do you know someone in HardCore?:
Sadly no.

- Do you have issues with D/C due to internet/computer problems?:
If I ever do, it's because of a power cut.

- What kind of person are you in real life? What can you bring to us?
I am a dry humored but quiet character, and I tend to listen to other people's opinions more than I express my own. I will ofcourse help anyone out, and really appreciate a decent guild banter.

- How do you partecipate for example in a guild chat?
I try to give as much help as I can where my professions and skills are concerned. I'm not afraid of asking questions regarding classes I have poorer skills in, and am happy to learn from those willing to teach.

- Is there something more you want to add?:
At the present moment you will see I am in Shattered Halls EU. Shattered Halls has become rather stale - the guilds are full, the horde populace never changes, and there's still a constant grey-ness about the place. I want to move to a server I can enjoy, with (as the assumption goes) the intellectual peoples of the RP-realms.

All in all, I am tired of slack members, boring people and having to “cattle-prod” them around. Short of shooting every non-tactic reading pug, I feel moving to pasture green would revitalise my war machine.

I decided to get ahead of transferring and to see which guilds are available. I found your recruitment thread on Venture's Realm forum, so decided to take you up on the advert. I might also be bringing a friend along with me - Shadows level 80 Hunter, that I see you are also recruiting for. As I say this is prospective at the present moment, so please take my application as a single person and not as a joint-application.
