PERSONAL INFO
- Personal name:Anthony
- Age:22
- Gender:Male
- Nationality:Belgium

CHARACTER INFO
- Character Name:Innervator
- Class/Race:Druid/tauren
- Professions and their skill levels(including secondary ones):Enchanting (390) and mining (450)
- Total time "/played":68 days
- Link to your character profile from the armory:
http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=The+Venture+Co&n=Innervator- Your main/preferred spec:Resto
[]Would you like to respecc? I wouldn't mind
- What's your dps (with self-buffs) on an Heroic Target Dummy? (considering you're a dpser of course): While moonkin isn't my main spec, I can get around 3k selfbuffed.
- Have you got any alt?: tbc- A rogue and a priest, but I haven't bothered leveling them to 80. Also a lv 71 dk, which I don't like to play.

IN-GAME INFO
- What guild(s) were you in before applying and why did you leave them? (before WotLK too): I was in used to could on magtheridon, before tbc. I transfered to this server because my sister plays here and it's more fun to play together.
- Your Previous Raid Experience: Pre-tbc: everything except naxxramas on my priest. Tbc: everything except sunwell on my druid. Wotlk: Everything except ulduar.
- What's your role in raid?:I haven't been in a decent guild since wotlk, so I've mostly done pugs as a healer. I lead a lot of them
- Link to a screenshot of your current UI (you can host it here): I use the standard UI. You may find this inefficient, but I've experimented with a few UI-mobs like grid and healbot, and they didn't help me that much. The standard UI never bugs (except one time a year ago) and works well enough for me to be top healing on most raids I've been in.

ASTONISH US
- Why should we prefer you instead of others (same class) in your opinion?: I'm reliable in many ways; I'm always focused when I need to be, I have lead many raids and dealt with all sorts of people, and my connection has always been stable (and if I dc it takes a maximum of 2 minutes to get back online).
- Do you feel skilled as a player?: Yes
- What are you goals besides character development?: My main goal is to know the fights inside-out so I can explain them to people that haven't done them yet, and develop new and more efficient tactics
- Are you pvper? Do you like it? Have you ever reached a good rating?: I liked pvp a lot in tbc (reached ratings up tro 2.1k, have the vengeful shoulders and weapon), but I haven't played much since wotlk, so I haven't really got a clue about the good combo's at the moment.
- Do you know someone in HardCore?: The reason I made the application is because I lead a pug to emalon and noticed that Noxxen was a very good player (fast with marking, amazing dps). I figured the guild would probably be equally good.
- Do you have issues with D/C due to internet/computer problems?: No
- What kind of person are you in real life? What can you bring to us? How do you partecipate for example in a guild chat? I can't lie: I'm not a hardcore player. My raid attendance won't be near 100% since I have a lot of stuff going on in real life. I'm a student civil engineering at ghent university, I go out a lot and do a lot of sports such as squash, tennis, fitness and martial arts. If the guild is good, and the runs are smooth, however, I'll try to free up as much time as I can for the guild. Raiding 2x a week should always be possible
- Something more you want to add?: I have epic gear for all specs, but I would prefer not to be a tank since I'm not that good at it. However, if it's needed at some point, with the proper explanation I could tank pretty much anything, gear-wise.

Could you write down your rotation as a Moonkin and what addons you use to maximise your dps?

Well, I haven't played moonkin in wotlk much before, and when I did, I specced for max damage in 5man instance. So I never used faerie fire, or even insect swarm since the mobs die way too fast to ever use it. I just stuck to wrath, starfire and specced into gale winds and typhoon for aoe. If you want, I could try crafting a new spec and maximizing my dps with a raidbuff spec. Going online now.

As regards IFF ( Improoved Faeire Fire ), it does not stack with shadow priest's debuffs so since we have atleast 1 Shadow Priest per raid, it's not needed to take IFF.
So use those 3 points for something better.
Gale Winds is a great Help for many bosses so i suggest you to get it.
Typhoon is not worth the 1 point waste.

Since they nerfed mana regen by a large amount with the patch, Dreamstate became also a very useful talent for those aoe bosses like Razorscale Kologarn and so on.
Also 1/3 in Moonglow instead of 1/5 Genesis, when you're going down in the tiers, is now ( again due to the mana regen nerf ) worth more.

About Earth and Moon talent, it highly depends on the raid composition cause DK's Ebon Plague does not stac with it.
Eventhough Scourge Strike talent of those makes them use diseases very low times ( they don't think about reapplying diseases to reapply also ebon plague aswell ) so it's sometimes useful, sometimes not.

Well, you seem to know quite a lot about moonkin specs. Do you have a link to any of your moonkin druid specs? I could use that spec on the dummies and tell you my dps.

With that spec, I do around 3k dps on the dummies.

Now seriously, he healed me in wintergrasp, I say we let him in!

IFF always gives 3% crit for yourself so its still worth it

Intensity>Dreamstate and unless you are very gimped at spirit, that usually doesnt happen for doomkins and imo you pretty much dont need that.

As for a debuff yeah but it still increase your spell dmg so i wouldnt miss it.

DOOMspec Im currently using this spec. As for the last point i took typhoon and im pretty happy with it, thou its very mana consuming. Starfall insteed of it could work also. About the mana regen, i didnt go oom even once at any boss fight in ulduar so far so really, speccing in all mana regen talents is pointless, youll be at over 80% mana all the time that isnt really needed. Thats my tips but Im just a n00b Wink

Well if IFF doesn't buff the raid, I'd rather go with celestial focus which gives 3% spell haste at all times, without having to refresh FF. I agree with IIS over dreamstate though, I generally don't run out of mana that fast, and there's always innervate.

As for starfall: I don't know what other people think about this, but it seems like a crazy addition to my dps; just 1 gcd resulting in 20 stars with 111-129 base damage. I would even prefer glyphing in starfall rather than insect swarm, since the reduced chance to hit is very valuable in raids.

I'd also like to know when I'll get accepted or rejected. I really feel like raiding, but as long as I'm on hold here, I can't.

Well I dont want to argue but 3% crit > 3% haste for doomkins and the fact that you will need too refresh it every 5 minutes on boss fight seems tough Wink

And again, I wasnt arguing but just pointing things out of my experience. Maybe it sounded like "OMG YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOURE TALKING ABOUT" but that wasnt really my intention.

On bossfights, it's probably better, but on trash, I'd rather have the spellhaste instead of the gcd+crit since the mobs die too fast, and the spellhaste also works for aoeing (without having to FF all the targets). And I don't mind criticism, I'm not a very experienced moonkin since I'm resto most of the time.

Innervator, generally speaking, if trash die that fast, we usually aoe it down. If it can't be aoed down and it die too fast, nobody gives a shit if you lose a couple hundred of dps.
I personally think that you should pick Deeraji's spec (the one that he linked) with one small change- change a point from Nature's Reach to either Typhoon or Celestial Focus. The reason is, I don't think aggro is a major problem for tanks nowadays, and the extra spell/range will add more utility/dps than the range. It's nothing major, and if you ignore this suggestion nothing will happen.

Regarding IFF- you should take it. Since it states that it works as long as there is FF on the target, many times you will benefit from the bonus even without casting it since grasschewer will put it.

Hail Anthony,

welcome here and sorry for the long delay.

It got a bit busy irl and I lost track of the application. I whispered you a few times ingame, but never got a reply. Honestly, I've grown bored with WoW the last few weeks so I'm just going to focus on my studies. Sorry for the trouble.

Have fun in Ulduar!
